We survived!
.jpg)
Dear Ella,
You are officially 2 years old now and it's been hard to digest this over the past couple of days. I remember rocking you at 2:00 am in the morning thinking you would never be this big, but here you are, taller, cuter and smarter and 2!!! WOW!
I did a lot of reading in your first year, trying to be the best parent that I can be. I did relize how important it is to go with you gut feeling so after a year there wasn't a lot of books to read so I focused on consistancy and still do. You hit each milestone with full force and here you are at 2 still doing it! The past week you will say, "don't want it mommy" or "Happy Birthday.....Ella." You are just too cute! You know all the kids names at school and love to give hugs (along with a good shove every now and then) and are definitly a leader.
The party was fun on Saturday, you seemed a bit overwhlemed, but had a good time. We forgot to play ring around the rosie, but you had fun making sock puppets and so did the other kids. Your cake was SOOO cute and you REALLY enjoyed the ice cream...."more mommy, more, please."
When you turn 16 and look back at this, I pray that you are still smiling and are having such a good time with life, enjoying every minute of it.
Love,
Mommy

Yummy Elbows!
In the land of toddler hood, you never know what they are thinking. Sometime they will say the strangest things or do the strangest things. Our little Bobina has started to learn body parts at school and I'm not sure what they have taught her about elbows, but the strangest thing has been happening. She will ask to see your elbow and once you show it to her, she get's all serious and before you know it she leans over and licks it! Yes, licks it! After a nice lick.....a giggle follows. I'm still trying to figure this one out!

So sick.....sick of winter
We have all been sick in our house and it's been a tough couple of weeks! We are taking a vacation in April and I keep picturing it in my mind; it's the only way to stay sane at this time of year! So to help me keep my mind off things; here is another favorite thing.

Favorite Things
I'm going to be starting some new things on my blog, and one of them is some of my "Favorite Things." Tune in each week to see what they are and feel free to let me know what some of yours are!
Ok, so let me tell you about this picture. It was bought in a cute little shop in downtown Milford, by my mom as a present for me.
I just love the colors in it and it looks great in our living room!

Too Funny!
This is probably one of those things where, "You had to be there," but let me try to tell it in the best light that I can.
Tonight we were sitting at the table having dinner, watching our little Bobina devour her soup when all of a sudden she stopped, looked at me with a smile and TOOTED! It reminded me of when she was a baby and was full of gas! This time was different because, she not only smiled when she did it she said, "I tooted" and pointed to her butt, saying "tooted, butt" with the giggles....o how much she is like her Aunt Tami! :-)

21 days until.....AHHHHHH
I wonder if all the nightmares that I have been having latley has any association to the fact that in 21 days, yes-only 21 days, our little Bobina will be turning 2!!! Wow, I thought I was freaked out about being pregnant, well let me tell you folks.....that was nothing compared to this! As I sit back and watch her dump her yogurt drink on the table, I think to myself, "Ah, so this is what it's like." Then I watch her dump a bowl of milk onto the floor, (now I know that she just dosen't get it yet) but I do and WOW, this is annoying! I don't think she's a horrible child or anything, but I have to wonder if I'm to hard on her sometimes. She will smack me in the face as hard as she can (I'm use to it now), and before I say or do anything, she says "time out?" O you better believe it child; that corner is calling your name! I will tell myself the same thing I did in the beggining.....just go with the flow! Let's see how well I do with the flow after the 23rd!
