The best SOUND EVER!

As I sit here writing, I hear big rain drops falling onto the ground and the birds singing in the rain. It's dark outside, but that doesn't stop the birds from singing; "Spring is here and, I'm singing in the rain, just singing in the rain..." ahh the joys of spring!

It's been a while, so here is another one of my favorite things. This sun sits outside our kitchen window on the shed and I love looking out at it. I got it from Lowe's last fall (almost stole it from someones cart, until I found out they had more). Here are some pictures that I took with my NEW camera that I got for my birthday.

L O N G over due!

This is a long over due blog, where does time go? O wait, I know.....work, family, work, family, holidays, errands, work....and you get the picture.

Here is an update to my "The New Earth" adventure....well I haven't watched another down load and yes I do plan on doing it, yet I have the winter blues so it may have to wait until I see a sign of SPRING! I have kept up on the book, it's hard not to let the mind wander on this one, but it is interesting and educational.

On another note, in two days I will be "older" and well, ask me how I feel about it......not really any different to tell you the truth. I do plan on taking the day off work and I have a list of things "to do" for the day. Don't worry, part of this "to do" list includes sleeping in and possibly going to a yoga class....well see if that happens, but it is a goal.

Did I mention that I'm ready for SPRING!!!!!!!! I think that I saw buds on the tree outside our house today, hopefully this wasn't just a dream.


Our little Bobbina is going in for her two year check up and I really need to find out why her teeth are yellow in the front.....o wait are we supposed to be brushing them now? I also, need to ask the doctor why she wants cookies EVERY TIME we get into the car! YIKES!!

Any who, looking forward to having a day off......long over due!

Only a few more weeks!!!

Over the last week or so I have had so many thoughts on what to write about and then when I actually sit down to write about them I'm like, "what the hell was I going to write about?" I was going to write about the Mayor, but I don't want to waste my time, we all know that he should be FIRED! Then I want to write about work, and well we all know that's a "no no."

It's not that I don't have anything exciting to write about, it's just that for the past two weeks I have gotten such little sleep that I don't even know who I am! They should post something on the amber alert systems that says; "watch out for that girl with license plate xoxoxo, she is asleep behind the wheel."

In the past two years our little Bobina has thrived at growing. Every time she would hit a milestone she would do exactly what the books said she would do. For the first year I would sit back on that day, (like watching the monkeys at the zoo) and watch her do her thing. The book was very helpful for that first year, but this past year I have had to wing it and wow am I winging it! So she has turned 2 and well folks, we are having the "I DON'T WANT TO SLEEP SYNDROME." What would the book say about this one? I don't know, but I'm finding that I'm leaving a dent on her floor. Tonight is Bob's turn so I will rest comfortably in our bed, because when the clock strikes 11:19 p.m. I will be sleeping like a baby!

That vacation can't come soon enough..........

It wasn't an ahhh moment.

I tuned in last night to join Oprah's big On Line Class and had some "streaming" issues. After talking with a friend and my sister, they also had the same problem. I will be watching the video tonight and hope to get through another chapter in the next two nights.....I'm still on the path.

The New Earth

As I sit here waiting for "The New Earth" online class to begin, I wonder what I will take away from this. How will this change me? Unfortunately I have only read the first chapter, so I look forward to getting into the second chapter. This past year, I have been very negative, grumpy and just not myself. I just read Eat, Pray, Love and found some great inspirational ideas from that book, so I look forward to this adventure and the next 10 weeks of this online class. I will report back on what I think of the book and the online class.
