Can't close my mouth!!!

Over the hills and thru the mountains, we have made it to Lake Tahoe. After a brief day at Yosemite and a night at Mono Lake we jumped in the car and headed to Lake Tahoe. This adventure has been unbelievable...just speechless. The pictures don't do justice!

Hello California nice to meet you, it's been too long!

We have made it to Cali and even though the time change thing is kicking my ass, I'm ready to grow this fun relationship with California! So far I have crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, THREE and I was as excited as a little kid in a candy store! We went to Fisher Mans Wharf today and the neatest things were to see Alcatraz, the Famous Sea Lions and to take the drive down Lombard street.......that was amazing, and I'm still drooling over the beautiful hydrangeas! WOW were they the most spectacular site! EVER!!!!! I'm slowly fading due to sleep deprivation so I will let some of the pictures speak for themselves. See you soon!

I love you electricity!!!!!!

It's been a grueling past three days......and now they are history and I plan to move forward with my life. We had a huge storm on Sunday (and I missed the whole thing due to my shopping obsession at Hiller's market), but it was like a freaky movie! We went into the store and it was sunny and hot, came out of the store to down trees, transformers blowing up and traffic lights flashing. It was CRAZY weird! My neighbor across the street has a tree sitting on his house, they guy down the street lost two of his dogs to electrocution and there is yellow tape through out the neighborhood; warning home owner's to not go into their backyards. Even the news channel showed up this evening! Glenda Lewis brought us power! JK-thank you DTE for sticking to your promise and pulling through, sorry I was so bitter and angry, but we LOVE our electricity! Can you forgive me....please!

So on top of all this; our little Bobina gets sick and has been fighting a 102 fever for the past two days. I have taken her to the doctors only to hear the doc say; I don't see anything, just a bad cold! YIKES!!!!! I feel like I have been up for two weeks straight and don't know which way I'm coming or going. We are off to Cali on Saturday and I have a lot of catching up to do!!!

Can't wait to post pics of our trip, it will be documented the whole way!
Peace out!

Ellalicious

I have heard so many people in my previous life talk about how "2" is such a horrible stage! Well, I'm here to tell all of you that you should get off the hot dogs and mac & cheese! Yes, I will admit that the first month after our lovely daughter turned 2 we had some challenges, but now I'm here to say that 2 is a great age! It's such an incredible feeling looking at her and knowing that we are her teachers! She is coming into her own person and her little personality is, well I feel bad for those of you who I drive crazy, but she is a lot like me....CRAZY! It's a crazy fun! It's a crazy love, but there are the very serious moments and a lot of flopping around on the floor for attention. Yes, she is just like her mommy. Don't get me wrong we have our bad days too, but I'm enjoying every moment that I'm with her. She makes me laugh so hard when she dances in her car seat, or whispers in my ear, ever so gently "strawberry fruit shhsnack". Like that o so soft whisper is going to work on me....ok, you can have straberry fruit shhsnacks for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
So to those who have deemed 2 as the UGLY year, sorry can't agree with you on that one. Let's talk when she is 3!
