Dear Little Bobina,
Yesterday was your third birthday, o my beautiful little Bobina you are growing so fast. Life has treated us very well this past year, we are blessed with so much. You have really come into your own over the past three months or so. You are learning so much, counting, ABC's and your art projects are out of this world! I'm learning that you are very particular about things. You took my electric tooth brush holder the other day and you must have been totally disgusted with it because you were determined to clean it and you did just that, very clean, not a spot. I love this about you, it's all in the details. Maybe you will be a designer some day (shoe designer?), following through with all the details, or may a doctor since you are so gentle and caring and smart! Whatever you do in life, I know it will be successful.
You LOVE to run and you're super fast. In my observations, you like to stand back and observe the things happening around you, waiting before you jump in, assessing the situation and then taking action. You have been invited to your first birthday party by a little girl at school, her name is Abby. One of your best friends is Cameron and I sometimes wonder how this connection happened, but what I do know is that you adore him. Your daddy and I have had a few laughs over this, how can a three year old have a boyfriend? Is it in our genes?
You're into "boy" things, like Spider man, Thomas the Train and other things that boys like, but on the other hand you love your babies and other "girly" things. I love your diversity! :-)
School has been teaching you a lot. We still have our routine, waving goodbye at the window with Ms. Helena. Some mornings as I blow you a kiss and turn to walk away I see your glowing blue eyes through the window and my heart breaks as I climb back into my car. I miss you each and every day! This school is great for you and it's good for me to work, but each and everyday I miss your beautiful laugh and smile! It's obvious sometimes that I have the guilty working mother syndrome, giving in and saying yes to some of the things that should be no. I'm still learning too.
I'm looking forward to this year and enjoying another milestone. Happy 3rd Birthday my little Bobina!
Love,
Mommy
